The mission of Astra Women’s Business Alliance is to work proactively and cooperatively toward the elimination of marketplace barriers such that women-owned businesses receive access to and fair consideration of programs and projects that fund business growth and expansion.
In other words, we’re committed to you. We’ll help you knock down barriers and show you a path to success – plus provide the tools you’ll need along the way.
Our name says it all. Astra Women’s Business Alliance is a dynamic network of women-owned businesses, corporate and government agency supplier diversity professionals, and other partner organizations who share a singular mission: to advance opportunities for women in business.
Our services start with WBENC certification, the most credible, nationally recognized certification women can obtain for their business, but it’s only the beginning. We provide a wealth of resources – connecting you with contract opportunities, jumpstarting your networking, slashing your sales cycle and collaborating with and learning from other women business owners who have walked in your shoes.
For our corporate members, Astra is a powerful partner who can link you to qualified suppliers, generate increased visibility for the supplier diversity function within your own organization, and help you earn recognition among your peers for championing women-owned businesses.
