About this event Working together to foster relationships across borders is one of Astra Women's Business Alliance's key objectives. This premier event with our sisters in Canada will lay the foundation for creating mutually beneficial relationships in 2012 and beyond. Join us on February 29th -Mar 1st in San Jose, California to meet new business partners.

Registration Opens - February 29 - 5:00pm

Welcome Reception- February 29 - 5:30pm-7:30pm

This reception will serve as a kick-off celebration bringing women business owners together to explore building relationships leading to contracts and strategic alliances. WEConnect Canada, AWE and other Regional Partners in Canada bring greetings and introductions to their Canadian delegates & US hosts. Astra and WEConnect Canada will talk about the goals for this event. WBENC/WEConnect International WBEs & Corporations are invited to participate as speakers, sponsors, exhibitors & matchmakers. This event is open to non-WBENC/WEConnect members.

Workshops, Matchmaker and EXPO - March 1, 2012 8:00am-3:00pm

The day will start with opening remarks from Astra and WEConnect Canada outlining the program and goals for the day. Greetings from local community leaders will welcome guests. Morning workshops will present two separate panels discussing best practices of both WBEs and corporations doing business globally and strategies for forming strategic alliances in-country.

> Meet representatives from AT & T, Comcast,  and Johnson & Johnson

> Each woman business owner will have time to meet individually with each business present to explore current and future business opportunities for selling services and or forming strategic alliances.

> An informal no-host dinner will follow for those who wish to continue building networks and relationships.

Ticket information: Tickets are available for WBENC/WEConnect memebers, corporations & agency partners.. Not part of WBENC/WeConnect? The event is open to you and it is a great opportunity for you to get plugged into our network. Tickets are $250 per person. Pre-registration for this event is required & registration closes on February 21st, 2012. No refunds will be made after January 31st, 2012. About the Venue Located conveniently near the San Jose International Airport the Wyndham Hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport.
